Since 2016 I have spent some time during the winters in Cyprus. In this category you will find many photos from the coastal and mountain regions of this country.. Most of these photos are of the coastal region of Paphos, and many are of the archaeological sites in the area.
The photos near the Larnaca region were taken in the wintertime - December and January 2016/17/. Although there was plenty of sunshine, there was a lot of rain and thundery weather, which offered some dramatic lighting conditions. I found the rural villages very charming and interesting, and the mountain landscapes were quite stunning. The Cypriot people are the friendliest you could meet.
