Croagh Patrick on a December Evening

Last rays of sun on the reek. Croagh Patrick, nicknamed the Reek, is 2,507 ft. tall and is an important site of pilgrimage. On "Reek Sunday", the last Sunday in July every year, over 15,000 pilgrims climb it. It is about 5 miles from the town of West port. This view is from Old Head Beach.
